Comments:	Was carried through August 4, Saturday with the higher number of players until today, 15 teams. Was also the first tournament with Revelation Medal and Datashow in the SWOS Brasil History. We celebrate also the 24th aniversary of Rodrigćo, that's why was called "Rodrigćo Cup"

The Tournament started at 19:00hs and some guys unfortunately arrived too late to play.



Aside the players we have on the tournament:
Dani, Maren, Luiz Alexandre, Marinho, Aline, Gugu, Leo, Nķvia and Andréia.

FIRST PHASE

We had 15 teams playing at Rodrigćo Cup 2001, that was divided in 3 groups of 5 teams playing one time with each other and only the first 2 teams and more the best 3rd places will be qualified to the second phase.

GROUP A

Tadeu 0x0 Raphael Believe or Not! Raphael opened again our Tournament for the 3rd consecutive time. Tadeu doesn't played since 1997 and start in the new season in a boring 0x0.	Girino 2x0 Joćo Girino came as one of the favorites and don't give any chance to Joćo that also was starting in the New Season when his only tournament was in 1994.
Raphael 1x1 Davi Raphael played his second game against the newer in our tournaments Davi, that played well in a hard game stoling a draw away.	Joćo 0x2 Tadeu Tadeu is getting better and beat easily the novice Joćo, so taking the first place of Group A.
Davi 0x3 Girino Girino need to win to get back the first place of the group, so don't have any problems also to beat Davi.	Joćo 1x1 Raphael Joćo started to play well on the tournament and surprised Raphael, getting points of one of the favorites to classify. Raphael lost two players injuried in a very violent game.
Girino 1x0 Tadeu Both are playing the game to decide the first place of the group, was a hard and defensive game with many lost chances, but Girino knows to scores one only time and won with a short score.	Tadeu 1x0 Davi Tadeu after lost to Girino need to win to make his classification more easy. In a close game Davi lost again and Tadeu was classified.
Raphael 0x9 Girino Raphael after 3 draws need to win and with 3 injuried players goes anyway to attack Girino because is the only way to classify. But was Girino that opened the score, and scored again and again, getting Raphael more nervous and changing the tactics any time and blinding his team. So Girino don't lose the chance to make the highest score in the SWOS 96/97 History until now.	(WO) Davi 0x2 Joćo Davi unfortunately needed to go away and Joćo won in WO and was classified, taking the place of Alexandre of Group C or maybe Davi.

Group A Final Results

GROUP B

Rodrigćo 1x0 Akhilesh Rodrigćo play his first match against the novice Akhilesh, and what seems easy wasn't like we expected. Was a hard and close game until Rodrigćo scored and won his first 3 points.	Dudiabo 2x0 John Dudiabo that don't play since 1997 start in the new season against John, when domine the game and don't had problems to win for 2x0.
Akhilesh 1x2 Bernardo Bernardo start away and Akhilesh again play so well for a beginner, doing another cool game and scored his first goal in SWOS Brasil History scaring Bernardo for a while.	John 0x5 Rodrigćo Rodrigćo don't gave any chance to John scoring again and again reaching the first place of the group and leave John to the last place. In this game John made a own goal with his keeper.
Bernardo 1x1 Dudiabo Bernardo fight in home for the second place of the group against Dudiabo, but Dudi that made a great result with a draw keeping the second place.	John 0x0 Akhilesh John and Akhilesh made the game of the last position of the group, but both can't score and the match ends without goals, and both won his first points in SWOS Brasil Tournaments.
Dudiabo 0x1 Rodrigćo Dudiabo playing at home, with a simply victory will be in the first of the group, but Rodrigćo play so well in this difficult game and finaly won the first place.	Rodrigćo 2x0 Bernardo Rodrigćo now with a simple draw will stay in the first position and Bernardo needs to win to try to be classified. But Rodrigćo played again so well and open the score in the beginning, and Bernardo losing many goals made he attack more and opened a way to Rodrigćo score again and win the match.
Akhilesh 0x1 Dudiabo Akhilesh still with hope to be classified needs only win to stay in the tournament, but Dudiabo was playing so well and don't gave any chance to Akhil, and reaching the second place of the group.	Bernardo 1x0 John Bernardo only with a higher score could certificate his classification, and in a match tense and nervous he won with a short score against John that ends in the last position of the group. Bernardo without much hope ends classified in one of the best third places.

Group B Final Results

GRUPO C

Ricardinho 0x2 Paulinho Paulinho start like the favorite of Revelation Medal and had a lucky to play in a easy group and already start with a good win against Ricardinho.	Freddy 3x0 Junior Freddy start well against Junior and won without any problem with a large score.
Paulinho 3x1 Alexandre Paulinho still winning and won in a home game very disputed against Alexandre. Was a great game and Paulinho now reach the first place of the group.	Junior 0x1 Ricardinho Junior and Ricardinho played equal to equal but was Ricardinho that opened the score and got the 3 points of the match getting the 3rd place of the group leaving Junior to the last one.
Alexandre 0x3 Freddy Alexandre joga em casa contra o Freddy e toma um baile sem esboēar nenhum sinal de reaēćo, mesmo com Freddy perdendo muitos gols. Com isso Freddy assume a lideranēa e Alexandre quem vai para śltimo.	Junior 0x0 Paulinho Junior try to stay alive in the tournament but don't had lucky against Paulinho and draw without goals.
Freddy 3x0 Ricardinho Freddy at home won again reaching alone in the 1st place of the group.	Ricardinho 1x1 Alexandre Ricardinho playing at home with a win he will fight against Paulinho for the 2nd place but Alexandre played so well and for a little bit don't won.
Paulinho 0x3 Freddy Paulinho and Freddy already classified played soft. Freddy using many non-official players win anyway without problems a easy game.	Alexandre 1x0 Junior Alexandre goes with all force against Juniot and got his first win in SWOS Brasil and take the 3rd place of the group, but unfortunately was eliminated because the WO against Joćo on group A. Junior ends in the last place.

Group C Final Results

SECOND PHASE

Now starts the eliminatory phase in two games home/away and when draw we will have penalts without extra time or away goals.

QUARTER OF FINAL

Bernardo 0x1 Girino Girino end the first phase in the best position and play against Bernado, 3rd place of group B. When can won in a hard and close game aside playing away and scream that he is already on the semi finals.	Rodrigćo 2x0 Joćo Rodrigćo against Joćo, 3rd place of group A, don't had problems to win for 2x0 aside Joćo played so well for a novice.
Freddy 3x0 Paulinho Freddy against the 2nd place of his group Paulinho don't had problem to win again at the same score of the first phase.	(WO) Dudiabo 0x2 Tadeu Unfortunately Dudiabo need to leave the Tournament and made another WO making Tadeu very happy with two 2x0.
Girino 0x2 Bernardo Girino back saying that already won but was Bernardo that open the score still in the first half. With the pressure of the crowd and the bad score Girino was getting so much nervouse and can't do anything right on the game losing many easy chances, and in a strike-back Bernardo score again killing Girino's chances.	Joćo 2x2 Rodrigćo Joćo could be eliminated, but with a simple victory will win the Revelation Medal, what made play with more spirit and play a great match against Rodrigćo winning a draw with that strong opponent. With the draw Rodrigćo reach the semi finals.
Paulinho 0x2 Freddy Freddy now with a large score from the first game safe his best players to the next match strafe from the faults and scoring 2 times to reach the semi finals.	Tadeu 2x0 Dudiabo (WO) Tadeu stay with no one in his front to reach the semi finals without put in risk his players to be injured or suspended to the next games.

SEMI FINALS

Bernardo 2x0 Tadeu Bernardo start with full power against Tadeu using his great result in last game as inspiration. Won without give any chances to Tadeu surprised he staying more close to the final.

Rodrigćo 0x1 Freddy Rodrigćo play the first game in home, but was Freddy that domine the game and open the score. Rodrigćo stay very nervous and in his own field and can't do anything fine and had lucky for not receive more goals and lose his first match on the Tournament.

Tadeu 2x0 Bernardo (4x3) Bernardo thought that was already in the final but made the same mistake that Girino made before. Play so bad without try to win and Tadeu that always tryed to score. The first half ends in 0x0 and Bernardo now is more close to the final, but start to relax and with the first Tadeu's goal was getting nervouse and in the final moments Tadeu scored again leave the decision to penalts, where won like deserved.

Freddy 1x4 Rodrigćo Rodrigćo open the score in the beginning of the game, but Freddy score also short after. The game torn hard and nervouse, Freddy was thinking much in the Fair Play medal and wasn't use the force to get the ball aside Rodrigćo was playing with more blood to win and scored again making 2x1 in the first half. Freddy came in fully attack but was Rodrigćo that score again in two fast strikes back winning one of the favorities with a large score.

FINALS

BRONZE MEDAL GAMES

Bernardo 0x1 Freddy With both playing without soul, Freddy open fast the score and spend the time waiting for Bernardo to strike back, but Bernardo don't done anything and ends in only 1x0.

Freddy 0x0 Bernardo On the 2nd game Bernardo seems more dissapointed and still don't made anything good to leave some dangerous to Freddy's defense, that also to played well finishing in a boring 0x0 and Freddy got the Bronze Medal.

FINAL

Tadeu 2x2 Rodrigćo Match too hard with many faults. Rodrigćo open the score but Tadeu change the score to 2x1 really fast. In the middle of the second half Rodrigćo lose a player with Red Card and aside that he score again in the end and won a draw away.

Rodrigćo 4x2 Tadeu Match very different than the first, very more open with both trying to score in the first minutes. Rodrigćo again score first, but until the end of the first half Tadeu already change again to 2x1. Rodrigćo starts to get nervous and only stay more relax when made 2x2 in the beginning of second half. So Tadeu that was getting more and more nervouse showing his shaking fingers when Rodrigćo scored again doing 3x2. Tadeu goes with all force against Rodrigćo that in a strike back score again to win the match and the Tournament. Rodrigćo was the Champion and Highest Scorer of Rodrigćo Cup 2001.

CHAMPION's CAMPAIGN First Phase Rodrigćo 1x0 Akhilesh John 0x5 Rodrigćo Dudiabo 0x1 Rodrigćo Rodrigćo 2x0 Bernardo Quarter of Final Rodrigćo 2x0 Joćo Joćo 2x2 Rodrigćo Semi Final Rodrigćo 0x1 Freddy Freddy 1x4 Rodrigćo Final Tadeu 2x2 Rodrigćo Rodrigćo 4x2 Tadeu Rodrigćo finish the Tournament also as Highest Scorer with his own attacker called Rodrigćo with 9 goals, losing only one game and with the best attacker with 23 goals. This Cup really deserved be called as "Rodrigćo Cup 2001"

That's was the Rodrigćo Cup 2001, with a big number of players and guests that made the tournament a little long but so much funny, and with Datashow each match were so much emotional like never was before.

Rodrigćo got the Trophy and the Highest Scorer Medal, Tadeu aside have lucky about Dudiabo quit made a good tournament and got the Silver Medal. Freddy that was playing well played so bad against Rodrigćo and got only the Bronze and Fair Play Medals and was the team with more points and with the best Balance of Goals of the Tournament.

Paulinho that was the team from the second division classified in the final table won the Revelation Medal, aside was again the most violent team in the Tournament. With that result he was promoted to the First Division of SWOS Brasil.
