Was played at December 7 of 2002, in a very hot saturday evening.
We had only 9 teams aside had 20 on the party, and with Luiz Magno playing his first official match. Many big teams couldn't play, like Leo that have heath problems, and this make the championship easier to the novice teams. Aside that the championship was really great and funny, with many beautiful goals and until "Drible da Vaca" happened. All medals was disputed like their own lifes. For the first time we had a GAME SHOW aside a DATA SHOW, so all the matches was broadcasted to the TV 29", which was recorded in VHS to be made a promo tape in the future. Beside the players, also went to the party: Dani, Dudi, Hélio, Eliane, Rodrigo, Bruna, Marinho, Alexandre, Andréa, Laerte & Natália. |

We were divided in 3 groups of 3 with Bernardo, Freddy & Raphael been the Group's leaders as the ranking. When only 1 team of 9 will be off on the first page. Like Bernardo said: "Be eliminated is like you are in a big full stadium and a bird crocked at your head".

 Luiz Alexandre & Felipe open the SWOS CUP 2002. Both never played a SWOS CUP before, and because that the match was too nervous and Felipe like avenger try to beat Luiz that won the last confront between both, and won the Revelation's Medal of SWOS OPEN 2002. But this time Felipe played better and aside lose many goals, could score one and got his first won in an official Championship. |
 Felipe now already classified play with the group leader Raphael, that came from bad results on last tournaments, almost be relegated to the second division. The match started nervous and hard, and take too long to Raphael score the first goal on the end of the first half. On the second half Raphael trying to not dissappoint again and Felipe too nervous with the bad score made the things easier to Raphael that scored more 3 without problems. |

 Raphael happy with his last score now stay calm against Luiz that were in a difficult situation in the group. |
Luiz Alexandre need at least a draw to garantee his place on the second phase, but Raphael don't leave any chance to Luiz aside the small score. Luiz know how to defend yourself and receive the less goals as possible, something really important that could decide who will be out on the second phase.

 Daniel start aganst the group leader Freddy and played well in a hard and difficult match. Freddy only open the score on the end of the first half, and after many trouble Freddy scored again some minutes before the end. |
 Daniel & Junior are now doing the dangerous match, both need to win and this made the game too much nervous. Daniel lost many chances but finaly scored on the second half and won the game. Now Junior need to win against Freddy, or at least not lose for many goals to try to be classified on the 3rd position of the group. |

 Junior playing at home tried to stay without receive any goal, but his dream turns to nightmare. |
I think the pressure taked Junior a lot nervous, and his team can't do anything right,
and receive one goal after other, and his only goal was a own goal by Freddy from the middlefield,
an incredible headshot! Junior now was almost out of the championship, and start pray for John lose
on group C for a big score, since Luiz Alexandre was already classified.

 Luiz Magno & Bernardo open the Group C, and Luiz played very well against a SWOS Jedi player in his official match and only lose for 2x0, and almost scored many times too. |
 John start against Bernardo and also don't played bad, Bernardo only scored on the last minute of the first half. But John scored too some seconds after, incredible! Bernardo on the second half start to respect more the John's evolution and start to dominate the match, and the goals came naturaly, putting John in a difficult situation on the group. |

 Now both need only a draw to garantee a place on the second phase, but they only want to win. |
Was a hard game, and Luiz Magno opened the score doing his first official goal. John with that open more his defense to try to score too, but Luiz controls the match and scored again putting John in a dangerous situation, if he received one more goal, he will be out and junior in. But John came back and try with success not received anymore goals, and got the last place to the second phase, and Junior was out.

 John celebrate his first time in a quarter of final and played well against the good Raphael's team that came from a great first phase. Match was nervouse and closed, and both had many chances to score, but was Raphael that made 1x0. John tried a lot score to draw the game away, but Raphael scored again, living the thing to John more difficult on the second game at his home. |
 Freddy don't gave any chance to Luiz Alexandre, that aside the big score played well and reach many times with dangerous to the Freddy's goal. We had many beautiful goals here celebrated for the crowd. |

 Luiz Magno play against Bernardo again, and this time in a elimination phase. Was a hard and disputed match, and Luiz Magno don't had fear and tried to win. |
 Two novices playing aganst other in a Quarters means that one novice will be already on the semi-finals. This turns the match more nervous and important than ever, making both played so bad because they were too much nervous. Both lose many chances, but Daniel scored on the end of the first half. After that both still losing many good chances and nothing was made aside that. So Daniel is one goal more close to the Semi-Finals. |

 John now need to win for 3x0 or 2x0 to lead the match to penalties shots, something that aside is difficult, isn't impossible. John until start decided to win but Raphael score in the first minutes. With that John almost quit, and the match comes to be boring with Raphael saving his best players to the next round, while John can't do a good play to try to score. Raphael not had problems to scored again and put an end on the John's dream. Raphael is back on the semi-finals after 2 years away with bad results, while John aside out, was very satified with his result. |
 Luiz start trying to do a good match aside be out of the semi-finals. Freddy use almost his substitutes players to save his cracks for a injury or suspension. Aside that Freddy don't had problems to win again doing more 3 great goals putting Luiz on way to home earlier. |

 Luiz Magno came to all or nothing tring to win for one goal to lead the match to penalty shot and Bernardo was surprised by the novice team that strikes many times with many danger to Bernardo's goal, making his defense work a lot. Bernardo aside that domined the game but can't pass across the Luiz defense too to score and garantee his place on the semi-finals. So this make the match also nervous and dangerous to both sides until the end. Bernardo with the result is again on the semi-finals but without Sirilo that was injuried, and Luiz is out but had hopes to play on the Revelation Match. |
 Felipe playing at home need to go to strike against Daniel anyway, that only a draw will lead Daniel to the next round. Felipe played better again, aside the dangerous counter-strikes by Daniel. Felipe lose again many clear chances to score and can't score again until the end. With that Felipe was out with only one goal in the championship. Daniel got a place on the semi-finals and will play against Luiz Magno the Revelation Game. |
Believe or not, until this point no one had received a single card,
somthing that never happened before in a official championship like the SWOS CUP.

 Raphael had lucky and played against Daniel, that aside learned fast since 2001 when his started to play SWOS, wasn't a someone to have fear. So is the best chance of Raphael reach on the final for the first time, and maybe a chance like this one will never repeat again to be wasted. Daniel done his part tring to not receive goals, but Raphael aside very nervous played a lot better and win the match as he deserved.  |
 Match very dangerous and tense, Bernardo got almost the people to pray for his victory and play very well. Freddy for other side was too nervous and don't found himself in the field, made many faults and received the first yellow card of the Cup. Bernardo also don't stay away and received another 2 yellow cards. The first half end without goals and Bernardo open the score soon as the second half started.  Freddy tried to react but still Bernardo that rule the game, and none of the Freddy's attacks works, always been stopped by Bernardo's defense. So Bernardo scored again in a fast counter-attack, and Freddy scored also some seconds later. For Freddy's lucky Bernardo end losing a penalty shot on the final moments of the match. Freddy now need to win for 2 goals at home to go to the Final. |

 Daniel start better this time, and hit 2 times the Raphael's post on the first half, that stay without reaction and nothing was done until the beginning of the second half, when after a great Daniel's attack, Raphael made a fast counter-attack and open the score leaving Daniel very sad and dissapointed. But Raphael's keeper fails and Daniel draw the match. But on the final minutes Raphael done another goal and signed his name on the Final for the first time in his SWOS life.  |
 Freddy now a lot better and rule the match since the first minute, but nothing make the ball hit the Bernardo's net, high balls were taken by head, and the short ones by jumping, and nothing made the ball until enter on the Bernardo area. Freddy done anything right, but on the last second appears a Bernardo's defensor to stop the play.  The second half started and Freddy started to be mad with so much wasted chances, and for the other side Bernardo waste the time, taking advantage of nervous of Freddy and start to make very dangerous counter-attacks. Freddy still try to score and when finally he pass from Bernardo's defense, his goalkeeper kills the Freddy's dream, doing fantastic defenses until the end making Bernardo reach again to a final after some years, end eliminating Freddy that since 1996 was present in all SWOS CUP's Finals winning. |

 Daniel enter the match as favorite and start better, but short after Luiz Magno start to show his game and equal the things. You can see clearly that both are too much nervous, and probally the winner will be who can control better himself. Luiz Magno start to attack more and doing nice plays like a beautiful "Drible da Vaca", but was Daniel that hit the Magno's post with a great shot creeping his defense. Second half begins and no goal, faults to both sides and the match turns violent and more nervous, and they can't do good plays enough to score. |
 The final whistle was listen and they enter on the extra time. Luiz Magno came more decided to win in the first half and start to domine the game, letting Daniel more nervous yet, and lefting only 2 minutes to the end of the first half of the extra time, Luiz scored 1x0. Daniel tried to come back better on the second half, but was too nervous to controls his fingers well, and nothing works like he expected. When Luiz shot to any side to save the result until the end, winning the Revelation Medal. Daniel lost another final after came as a favorite and playing at home, like on the Second Division 2002 Final. |

 Match started and at 3 minutes Freddy already striked two times with many dangerous but was Daniel that open the score with a long distance shot. Freddy try to draw the match but nothing make the ball reach the goal. Only at 44mins Freddy make also a goal with a crossfade ball. On the second time Freddy still ruling the game and Daniel come back to scare Freddy with dangerous counter-attacks. Freddy hit many times the Daniel's post and until lose a penalty. That's all, the Bronze Medal will be decided on next match.  |
 Freddy start with full power and at 1min Bucetoyd open the score. Short after he scored again, and only Freddy was playing without the ball cross his midfield. At 2mins Daniel done his first shot, from a long distance without any danger. Freddy had another chance with a Penalty, that Bucetoyd lose again. On next minutes Animael scored 3x0 on the end of the first half. Second half begins and you only can see Freddy with the ball, doing strong attacks against Daniel, that make his keeper work a lot. Daniel done his second and last attack with a poor shot that came easy to Gilberto Braga's hands. So Freddy made the 4th before the end on the game.  Freddy celebrate his Bronze Medal with the 3rd place, while Daniel still not believing with his defeat, the 3rd consecutive fighting for a prize. |

 Raphael were for the first time in a final, and played behind waiting the favorite Bernardo, that start a little nervous, mistaken so much, what makes Raphael believe that is possible be the Champion, also because he alredy won against Bernardo at SWOS CUP 2000. So Raphael start to rule the match, aside the dangerous Bernardo's counter-attacks. The first half finished without goal, but on the begin of the next half Raphael done a great goal. Bernardo feels the pain and try to put the ball on the group and concentrate to try got back the dominion of the game, when on the final minutes he scored with a nice play.  Bernardo played better and don't liked the result, and Raphael that played bad this draw comes like a victory. Who win the next game will be the new Champion of the SWOS CUP. |
 Now is the time of truth, and Bernardo goes to attack Raphael that came better and believing that he could win, and start to reach many times with dangerous the Bernardo's goal. The match stay very hard and disputed, even the sides until Bernardo open the score with a fantastic goal, almost without angle, on the end of the first half. Short after Raphael had Exu, his best striker injuried on the last seconds of the half.  The last 45mins of SWOS CUP 2002 start and Raphael replaced Exu, and also made a horrible change on the middle-field. Raphael aside that change came decided to sttrike at any costs because he don't had other option. He came with all weapons, but Bernardo always counter-strikes with more dangerous using the way accross the lost Raphael's Mid-field, and done another goal. The Raphael Mid-Fiels can't support more Bernardo, and aside the lots of tries by Raphael was Bernardo that score again. Raphael don't gave-up, but after a incredible pass from the left, Cibel put the ball on the head of RRRRonaldinho that scored one more time doing a great goal. After that the ref not let the game restart and declared Bernardo the Champion of SWOS CUP 2002. |

Bernardo won for the second time the SWOS CUP, but now undefeated, with Cibel dividing the Higher Scorers with Exu from Raphael, and with the best defense. Is the first title by Bernardo in the new season, what he don't win since 1995.

Raphael that was warning about possibility of delegation because his last poor results, he garantee his place on the first division getting the Silver medal with the second place, and also got the Higher Scorer and Fair Play medals. He never got any prize in his SWOS carrer.

 All the players, and Luiz Alexandre that need to go home soon, received a Partitipation Medal in a way to say thank you to for the strongest participation, and to let them more happy to try a better place on next SWOS CUP. |
Luiz Magno that made his first participation in a official cup, made a fantastic campaign to a novice, receiving the Revelation's Medal aside playing away, and also played so well scoring many goals.
