The first championship with SWOS 96/97 and Real Prizes was a great success in spite of the small number of players.
Was created a Battlefield in my hall to suport all players and crowds.
Besides the players were present:
Dani, Paulinho, Natália, Fabiano, Marinho, Aline, Rodrigão and Sabrina.

The players were divided in two groups of 5, playing all against all only one time with 3 points to winner.

Sandro and Raphael opened the SWOS CUP 2000

John tries anyway to escape of the lost in your first game, meanwhile Leo, Bernardo and Sandro only have fun. Below Freddy commemorates his Goal against Leo that would give him the first place of the group.

On the fight of the last place of the group Laete tries to win Ricardinho to stay in the competition but he can't get away with more than 0x0. Late he try to "Buy" a victory against Bernardo without success.

At the end of the first phase the best scorer was Romário from Leo with 12 goals and Bernardo, Girino, John, Laerte and Sandro were fighting for the Fair Play Medal without any card until that moment. Ricardinho was the best agressor with 2 red cards in only 4 games at the moment.
| SECOND PHASE |
The first 4 teams of each group were classified to the second phase. Now the rules changed to eliminated games with 2 games to each confront without away goals, and if stay draw, will go to penalts shoots.

Happened two surprises in this phase, Girino that was one of the favorites was eliminated by Sandro, and Raphael almost eliminated Bernardo.
